RE: The X got hit again!
Man I'm feelin' the pain for you man....that hood is f-ed up! How the heck does someone do that kind of damage in a freakin' parking lot? To tell you the truth anymore I'd search all over wherever you were parked to figure out if someone has the night on video...With all of the fights and those kind of things that happen in parking lots and what not I almost guarantee that someone has some cc footage for you...Either way though how young or old were you again? Depending on whether you have a deductible that should be the only thing you must pay...otherwise your car will be fixed and from all of the accidents my dad has gotten into they have had no problem fixing everything. Just keep in mind that before you leave the shop that fixes the car make sure you have in writing that they checked and filled all fluids in you car...my dad hit a deer in my 94 f150 at about 60mph back in 96...well the truck was towed home and taken to a shop...2 weeks later my mom went and picked it up and no later than that my dads tranny was blown...the tranny fluid leaked out of the tranny and my dad had 7 different shops "fix" the tranny until the last one actually "fixed" it. The insurance company and the company that worked on the truck took no blame whatsoever. I'd take video and pics of everything now what fluids if any have leaked and take video and whatnot of after its fixed. You can never be too careful! By the way depending on what shop you take the jag to, to get it fixed some will pay your deductible and also it looked like you had a mesh grill...right? It may be cheaper for the body shop to buy you the mesh one than one from jag so see if they'll work with you...not to mention you never know what they might do for you for the rims...
One last thing...I wouldn't accept 1 new tire or 2 new tires and the other 2 old...i'd require all 4 to be new as if I recollect correctly they should be replaced in 4 on awd cars...I know that you aren't supposed to change the type of tire from front to back...whats the difference in replacing two old tires with two new? Good luck by the way...

Thanx Aquill, il be sure to check everything now, and after i get it back (who knows when that will be haha), quite honestly i dont even care too much about the wheels and the tires, i just want the car fixed, ill just put my other wheels back on.I think from now onif i go out at night, ill have to take a taxi or get a ride from someone else.I beleive that i have the plate of the person that did it, as one of my friends sed he saw the guy takin off ( my friend was a little drunk though). the plate he got was 7Y1G712 (California). Anyone know what i cud do with this info, cos i didnt report it before, so if i report it now, the police will prolly think y i didnt go to them before with it (i didnt get the plate till later, thats y i didnt go to report it before).

Yeah, if you have the plate number you can take it to the police and have them go to the persons home and investigate. Then you can press charges and have your stuff fuxed using THEIR insurance and not yours.
Good luck. I know exactly how you feel. I had one of my Lexus' hit 2 times in 2 weeks on each rear fenderwell.

As Cobra says...........give it to the police.........who gives a rats *** what they think? If they can track the guy down and there is matching damage on his vehicle. It comes outta his wallet not yours, or insurance to be precise.
Do it!
Keep us updated Xtype

Insurance company finally called me back today, i told them thesituation, and that license plate i beleived was the rite one, they did a check on it and found it wasnt right (so the fuc*er gets away with it). So now i have to pay the deductible, and my rates about to sky rocket. Cars goin to the shop on friday, hopefully get it back in a week or two.

Hey o4xtype I'd care about the rims and tires even if the aftermarkets are going back on...here in michigan I'm pretty sure I'd just be screwed even if someone else hit my car...we have no fault insurance here which blows the big one...higher insurance rates not at fault accidents still cost you...and more profit for the insurance companies...how high is your deductible 04xtype? I'd also start checking around to other insurance companies if I were you...especially after this, especially if they are going to raise your rate...how's your driving record?
