I told them that if they cannot find the wheels and they have to buy nw ones, i wud rather just have that monay spent on a set of custom wheels, as the cost for 2 wheels wud prolly be the same. The guy i talked to told me that to order new wheels, it will cost $1200 per wheel. I dunno where he got his price from, but if thats what he says, ill gladly get a set of 2400 dollar wheels haha. ive already been without my car for 2 weeks, 2 more wont be too bad, all i can hope is that its not more then 2 weeks.

Yeah thats hilarious that the stock 16" wheel is 1200 per wheel! Man you can get a kick butt set of aftermarket rims in 18" with a set of really really nice tires just for the cost of two wheels and thats not even the continental tires mounted back up on there either! They quoted me for like 800 bucks for the stock 17" tires to put on my rims! I'd be persuading them to just buy some aftermarket rims for sure man!

I think they cant buy online, so they have to find a retailer that has them, either way im goin to get the stock wheels, or some different ones. even if they give me up to 340 for each wheel, and then 100 for the the tires, thats already 980, which i cud still get a decent set of wheels if i add a little of my own money

Yeah not sure how you like chrome on your jag but I love the set they have on ebay for like 800 and like 900 for the 19's...don't think they'd fit though with your car being dropped...these are 18's and they are from here in michigan...it is a llc company I'd imagine you may be able to contact them so its not an internet transaction...they have the 18" jag rim...http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/FACTO...rdZ1QQtcZphoto

Yeah those are nice, i was looking in to those. i think its hard to find 4 of em, although i did find a site that had all 4 for 1600 (just wheels) + shipping. I was also looking at the bbs cv's, they dont look to bad, and not too pricey. you can check em out tirerack.com on the car, makes the car look quite stock, yet different

Try contacting that company to see if they have a set of 4 I bet they do they've had the listing on there forever and I think the 325 they want is a steal so I'd imagine they have more than one but don't know for sure...I like the avarus av3 too those are nice and the ASA JH9 19" for 239!!! Rial porto are also nice especially when the 18's are only 185! I just don't like the program that tirerack has ever used because the rims don't look as good on the cars as they could!

Yeah i dont really like the tirerack program either, but its the closest thing to seeing the wheels on the car, saves me from having to photochop em on my car. Im not sure if i wud go with 19's, as my 18's already rub, so im thinking 19's wud be worse. Im thinking of gettin wheels that are 7.5 width, so hopefully no rubbing. Saying all this depends on what the insurance company says about the wheels, i cud just end up with my stock ones lol.

On tirerack they will only give you the rims that are basically exactly the same as what was stock on there as far as offset and what not...I've found that they will only put stuff on their site that will absolutely fit! My 17's rub!

Im glad they only put wheels on that fit, as i already have a set that dont, so this way if i do get new wheels, ill be able to have some that dont rub.

Ok ive been told that they are going to replace the wheels with some referbished ones, so hopefully they look the same as the old ones. Ill be going to check em out before they put them on just to make sure they arent some crappy bent wheels.

ok i finally got my car back today, soon as i took out the shops driveway i notice that the temp gauge was at max and the light was on. so i drive back to the shop and telll them, and they take a look at it, and guess what, no coolant in the car, wtf! then they start putting coolant in, and it keeps on goin in. They told me that there must have been an air bubble so it looked like there was collant in the car. after the coolant was added the car runs fine. while i was driving back to the shop i noticed that the car was pulling to the right, soi asked if did an alignment, and they sed no, as it was not covered as the car was hit while it was parked. then i mentioned the wheels and the abs stuff that they fixed, and told him to put 2 and 2 together. so now i have to take it back on monday to have the alignment done. Also my AC doesnt work now, only blows from the fan, no cold air. on the receipt it says that they changed the "air conditioner & heater Qual" "repl parts condenser". ill post a copy or the repair order to see if any of you guys can tell me ifanyting the shop didhas anything to do with the AC not working. the scanned pic was too big to post, so i compressed it, hope its readable. And the total cost for the whole repair not including the alignment was $6128.28, of which i had to pay $500 for the deductible.

Awww man......04, don't wanna **** you off more than you probably are already, but it sounds to me like a totally half assed job all round......Sorta makes you wonder? If thats the stuff they've missed that I've found without even really looking that hard, what else did they half do?
Hope it all works out in the end bud.
