would you adam n eve it? I bit the bullet and got Denso 234-9029 upstream after trying three aftermarket and amazingly it has fixed all the coughing rough running, flat spots and so on and the X-type is again running sweetly naturally all the numbers for long and short term fuel trims are not level but I will give it time and test periodically at least I am now getting readings for the trims I was only getting zero's for before the Denso sensor went in and no ECL flashing or solid clean dash hurrah.
I still struggle with the cheaper sensors not doing the job properly so after hours of fixing her the one thing I would pass along DO NOT use the cheap E-Bay O2 sensors get them from rockauto.com $126 AUD I regret not doing it in the first place, I blame my tight Yorkshire origins being cheap lol.

I hate to say it, but post #4. It happens all the time.
Loved the adam n eve reference. Only you guys "down under" would get that, lol. Friend was there years ago swimming in the ocean with a friend. Guy on the beach kept yelling "noah's ark". Finally found out what it meant when he came ashore.
