X Type front suspension issues

When I was looking over my X Type prior to purchace I noticed the right front sway bar end link was broken in half and would need to be replaced. I bought the car and replaced both front end links with Moog parts and everything was fine till today whenI pulled the wheels off and both end links were bent. I put around 1100 miles since I replaced them and I did not hit any pot holes or did any crazy driving. Any Ideas? Also looking into some lowering springs that wont slam the car to the ground and retain a nice ride. I will be replacing front struts and rear shocks so figured I will do springs as well since I feel the front springs feel kinda dead.

there was no noise, I just noticed slightly more body roll around corners. I replaced the links today with another set of Moog (warranty on parts) so lets see what happens. I pushed the car pretty hard around a off ramp and checked the links when I got home and they are fine. I will look into the H&R springs as well for the next project on my X

Vette, for both end links to be bent, you have something pushing on the bar, causing the links to get bent. Whether it is the fact that the bar is not able to rotate inside of the mounts or the end of the swaybar is contacting part of the body, but something is sandwiching the end links between the sway bar and something hard. The only thing that I can think of is if you look at the end links, do they lean to the left or right or are they straight up and down? All I can think of is someone ended up replacing a swaybar and they found one that was close. But, in this case, as the sway bar moves, the ends are coming in contact with a portion of the body, sandwiching the endlinks between say the body of the car and the lower A-arm. This would cause what you are seeing. This same sort of effect would happen if the sway bar is somehow mechanically bound and the whole bar is not allowed to twist (doing what a sway bar should do). This would put excessive stress on the end links and lead to their bending.
Without putting my hands on the car, this is going to be a hard one to diagnose.
