Last time mine was changed Castrol was used, but I have a manual. That was a couple years ago. Car has 145,000 miles on it and runs great.
No one is saying the ones you recommended are bad or won't work well, just that there are other options out there that are just as effective.I would liken it to the differences between Coke and Pepsi.

I did similar research, includi9ng talking to some SAE Lubrication Engineers...the guys that test the stuff right down to ash.
Factory: IDEMITSU K17 or Jatco 3100 PL085
Jag spec fluids:
Esso LT 71141
Jatco 3100 PL085
IDEMITSU K17
Shell ATF 3403 M115 or Shell M1375.4
MERCON V XT-5-QM ATF
Valvoline MaxLife ATF (all valvoline engineers says is it isn't "lifetime fluid", but meets or exceeds Jatco spec!)
Castrol Import Multi-Vehicle ATF with the same caveat as the Valvoline; they don't officially spec it because it is intended that it be changed at regular intervals.
Land Rover dealers use Castrol in essentially the same transmission, but the service schedule says to change it every 30,000 miles.
Again, the big reason that most of the suppliers will not certify the fluids is the claim of 'lifetime' use. Oddly enough, JATCO doesn't rate their fluids for lifetime!
Me, I use Castrol (along with their +4 in the Chrysler), and send a tube out to be tested at the lab every 6 months when I'm doing the oil.
