It's hard to find a gt500 w/out stripes.
The old one is nice but doesn't compare to the "Eleanor!" (Gone in Sixty Seconds)
I wish they'd do something a little more in the rear end. I also wish they would have implemented a new and improved irs for the gt500. The terminator was leading them in the right footsteps and than they just decide to take a few steps back...well isn't that American auto manufacturers for ya!

Hey spartan are you stuck on the sn197's or no? If you weren't scared to get a salvaged car you can find terminators for 13k pretty easy (put back together and everything.)
I've been looking for a 06/07 sn197 vert but I can't seem to find anything in manual for under $20k in a color I'd like. I think if I buy a mustang it will probably end up being a terminator. You'd have to do quite a bit to a sn197 to get them near cobra territory.
You could also look into 2004 gto's. I've been looking at those too but I hate the trunk. Every time I think about a gto the terminator pops into my head steering me away.
I'm more of a ford guy so the mustang is more natural but gto's are a nice car. The downfall of the gto is the trunk (which houses the fuel tank) and the irs with it's wheel hop. IMO the excellent seats and quality of components inside are nice. The motor and tranny are also nice.
Oh btw you can get new edge cobra's for a pretty decent deal! Look here for some 99/01 cobra's. How many miles are you wanting? Most of the cobra's no matter what they are seem to be near you. There are many in virginia's, FL, carolina's and pretty much up and down the east coast. (I added this because I re-read your post stating that you'd like to keep it under $10k.)

Hi guys,
I don't know if anyones looked recently but the post versus hits ratio is very low, in some cases as low as maybe 5%, on average probably around 10%.
On another forum there was a suject that had 14377 hits and 169 posts. Don't get me wrong, obviously a popular topic but very low post rate.
On this forum you can see "aftermarket parts" with 635 hits but only 31 posts, around 5%. Or, "Suspension noise" with 329 hits, but only 17 posts, again, roughly 10%!!
I'd like to see the post rate go up significantly.
As a test if you like start here. Post your views re above please!!
I ask that everyone who hits on this topic post some reply or other! At the very least post sumthin witty or sarcastic, a plain simple dot even, a smilie, anything, just post and lets see if we cant "get it up" so to speak?

Hey happy...this is the off topic section within the X type section just for fun n messing around really....no other real purpose, started beacuse the original off topic section got little / no traffic.
Other than that each individual section is there for a specific model / purpose and gets the traffic peculair to that model with queries / issues and help and seems to work well so far I think.
Does that answer your question or is there a point I've missed?
Thanks
