Hey Manny.....checked out your car domain page.....your ride's lookin sweeeet man.
I woulda thought though as the car is black on black with more black that extreme white lighting would contrast wayyyy more. You could upgrade the bulbs as I did to 100w extreme bright white light with that bluish tinge for a xenon look, or betterr still go for the HID upgrade. The std lighting is poor anyways and it'll look wayyy nicer still.
Also, for the rear.....leds for the rear number plate. There's a few done it from this site and it just looks awesome. You could also do the led interior if you haven't done that already.

All the best

I've checked your x out on cardomain a while back. Nice looking x that is for sure. I love the updated grill.

I don't like the adr 19's though. If they had the dual 5 spoke design that would be fine but I'm not a fan of the polished lip with lots of spokes. I think you should try having the stockers powdercoated.

Only other thing I would say is upgrade the amp in the trunk! Get something a little better on the nice subs you have.

Otherwise great looking car, I can't believe you never though your x would look better than a m3!

jim and aquill you guys are funny... I want to get HID's but just waiting.. right now having a slight issue with my suspension my rear driver side is about half inch lower than the passenger side... not sure if something happened when they jacked up my car to put the wheels on or what... btu the tire is rubbing a little over hard turns or bigg dipps.. but deff HID's next upgrade after replacing my struts.. hoping that will fixx issue... and as for the wheels not easy finding 19's for the X-type and ADR had those for cheap.. managed to find them for $300 band new( thats for four)... and they expose the brakes for a sporty look which I realy wanted and needed... as for the amp its pushing 150 watts RMS and the speakers only need 120RMS really knocking as hard as they can right now.. but good luck with therapy man...

What profile tire do you have on the rim and how wide are the rims and tires?

Like I said I think your stockers look better, once again that's just my opinion. The hide will be the best mod you've made thus far. Only problem with the amp is that it's a Sony. Sony 150rms vs another 150rms are two different things. If your happy who cares.

Either way, welcome, enjoy the forum/family and take care of her! She's a beaut!

Who's going to therapy?

Did you try jacking up that side again or taking the wheel off again?

If you had 225's you wouldn't rub at all. But if your rims are wide that size wouldn't cover the lip at all. I loved these rims on my x, but they're only 18's.

I was just wondering who was going to therapy! LOL

If you do hids you should do the 2k-3k range for your fogs, it'll give more of the lexus look and I think would complement your black car perfectly.

yea 225 is what most places recommend yo be safe but 235 is what arden recommends for their x-type wheels and many have used then... I trying jacking it up and it helped untill i drove around and it settled... may just need to get struts replaced... been 76K on the original ones so... yea i wasnt planing on doing HID's in the fogs only the upper and to be honest i was looking at my lights last night and they are pretty dam bright... but either 8K or 10K will be for the top lights next month...

Do you already have hids? If you already have them I wouldn't put a different K in. If you don't have stock hids I'll find some pics of my swap. The difference is more cleanliness than brightness. I got the 6k and the look was great, they do add quite a bit light though. My favorite part was the look. Don't go higher than 6k, if you must 8k is the most you should go. Beyond 6k and you lose output. I've talked to quite a few people who had10k and they hate it. IMO 8k and higher just look like colored bulbs and they lose the whole pizzazz of having hids.

You're on the money with this Aquill......we've seen it here a hundred times or more as well as elsewhere. Personally I wouldn't above 6k for the best combo but its all down to personal taste

6k is the best overall. I personally would rather have had a 4300k or 5k kit. I still need to post some pics for manefresh though...someone remind me if I forget, I'm pretty busy...

Sup kiddos..

Yeah 6k is overkill.

So how's everyone doing? Busy as hell here, man. I'm in the midst of purchasing a home. I decided not to purchase the 3L Silver CSVT, since I need to save money for a home. I'm pretty bummed about it, but my gf convinced me home>car. Stoopid girls and their logic! Take it easy guys.

Gotta a question, my dad used to drive a big old cadillac, and im getting my car back tommorw fromt he repair shop, he says his freind who had been working on my car, is just frustrated with its complexity, and my dad said, son if i were you, i would sell that thing and just buy a chevy, or a regualr car. Whats ur guys opinion, i love the car, and i don't care about the money, but would it be better if i sold it for something more reliable.? Its been pretty good to me, never brke down yet.

If you love the car why listen to what other people say? I don't really know how complex the car is but did you ask the guy how many all wheel drive cars he's worked on that are the same size as the x? If you notice he doesn't tell you to buy a Cadillac! My uncles shop hates Cadillac and anything beyond normal stuff has to be taken to a dealer.

On a side note I'll probably be buying a chevy for my daily driver! Only cuz it's cheap!

I love the car, and i just had to get the headlamp washer cover replaced, it took him 5 hours, he said, to put it in. And its far better then the impala i used to drive in winter. I was looking at the 430hp 2006 gto, but winter would be murder. I like power, but i also like the rareness of the car, and the looks i get in it.
