Aquill, trying to find a home down here in Lubbock. I got into the B school, so with work and going to school in the evening, the MBA will take me about 2.5 years. I figured I might as well get a home and build some equity rather than throwing it away renting.

I really wanted that Contour SVT, though. My mom and gf were pestering me on how bad of a decision it would be to get the car....women!

Sounds like you're getting a nice ***-beating down there, man. Ahh well, got to keep on truckin' through it. Good luck, bro.

Jim- I missed your t-shirt lady; she still looks good

You could say a beating...

BTW signed on the dotted line last night...

Nothing special but it gets good gas mileage and will fit the car seats well. $90 a week in gas was killing me...

Yeah he's a beast. I feel bad for anyone that would want to mess with him while he's in uniform! LOL

The car is a scion xb, nothing special. It's good on gas and has a decent amount of space on the inside. It's more for the wife, that way when I get out of the academy and get out on the street I can get what I really want.

Lol...depends if the person is an enthusiast or just a rich snob driving it just because it's a jag. On the other hand BMW and mb owners are in trouble...j/k

Any of the areas I'd want to work arent concentrated on pulling people over for speeding. I'm not one of those people that would get my enjoyment out of writing speeding tickets. I'd rather clean the streets of those that shouldn't be out on them. Know what I mean?

I would however like to see h20boy driving around, it'd be fun to scare the crap out of him! Lol

My police academy training consists of a decade playing Counter-Strike Source. Mostly on the Urban Assault server these days. I've shot about 10,000 terrorists there, promoting peas, justice, and American whey, and making the world safer for Jaguar enthusiasts everywhere. Is that off topic enough?

Any other X-er CS fans out there? We could start our own clam.... er, clan.

Default Doh!

Well, then that makes me a crappy Scot. Maybe that's why the forbearers had to flee across the pond to the land of Polygamy.

Did any1 hear about the father letting his 7year old son drive the family suv with him video tape it, his wife in the back seat with a baby on her lap, a teenage son in the back, no seatbelts, doing 70km on a dirt sideroad in the rain?? Its in the news and the father got busted because he posted it on youtube and cops found it.
Google search it...you will find it, its in all the canadian papers today.
