I thought soccer ( football ) was really taking off over there. David Beckham gone to LA Galaxy, we've got some American soccer players playing in our leagues over here, and the USA team seem to be doing better n better at the big international events recently too..

There must be some sort of following for it, although I guess it'll never be as big as American football, baseball etc

Soccer has somewhat picked up since David Beckham arrived in LA, but it's one sport I could never get in to (sorry everyone). I must admit, I am more of a American football fan. My dad and I go see the San Diego Chargers every year, but this year I probably won't be able to go due to the academy in Oct., but I will definately still follow the team....maybe a Super Bowl appearance is coming up? We'll see....

What's up guys?

I don't think Bechham brought much here to the states. He may have brought some female fans but he has been more disappointing than anything. I hate the huge salaries these people get only to end up crippled...Is he still playing here in the states? I thought he went back?

On a side note,

Some dude had a xf and put a leaper on the bonnet where the round badge goes, I must say I'm a leaper fan but that looked UGLY! To me it looked like all those people that buy a car and tape chrome all over the place.

If I buy an XF I will be planning to put a leaper on it as well

Hear ya Aquill - +1 on the leaper on an XF

Caddie - waheyyy the boys did it against Macedonia, good result for us.
The test though is tonight....kick off 7.30pm against Holland ranked 3rd in the world I think so it'll be a real tough match. We need a win to have a chance of going through to the World Cup Finals.
I'l be there along with my kids and 50,000 other maddies cheering them on.

Mon the Scots!!!

Cadi, have you seen the xf with a leaper? You know me and I love the leaper and originally hated the xf because it didn't have a leaper. After seeing a leaper it destroyed the whole look of the car...I'll see if I can't get a picture of the xf at the dealer I saw with a leaper...

The dealer I just talked to also said "no leaper avaliable for the XF" . However, I think you can check this out before verdict lol

I love the leaper as well and think it completes the look of many Jags, such as the X-Type, but when it comes to the XF, I have to agree with Aquill, it destroys the look of the car. I've seen a leaper on an XK and it was just as bad...

That car is gorgeous until you see the leaper...I personally don't like the chrome around the mesh grill either...I'll try to remember getting some pics tomorrow...I got oc sprayed and cs gassed today so I was more interested in getting home. I've never had a sunburn that hurt so much in my life (burn of the skin from the oc spray.)

That leaper dates the car so bad. It just doesn't flow with the car...if they took the leaper off of the x-type, s-type or xj I'd think that it takes away from the car.
