Personally, regardless of whether they were shot in the back, if someone is in my house without permission it shouldn't matter. Although in TX you can't be prosecuted for using deadly force to prevent the consequences of theft.
I loved hearing about the idiots that broke into houses and either got eaten by a dog or cut on glass sued the homeowner for damage, such ridiculous crap.

Pity Tony Martin didnt have a guard dog, he would have probably been prosecuted but doubt he would have been given such a long sentence.

Code P0402
Dear friends,
My car had 2 misfire cylinder and they were fixed. Almost 2 days from the repair the engine light comes up again. Now the code was P0402. The mechanic said to me that the reason was probably related to the type of fuel used, probably regular gas. So they asked me to use just premium gas and put some additive in the car and said that the problem could be fixed in this way.
Do you believe that it is possible? My Jag is a 2003 X-type with 80.000 miles.
I was wondering that maybe some problems related to the DFPE sensor or EGR valve. What do you think? Do you have an idea how much it will cost to replace both pieces?
Best regards
Fernando

Have to put in my two cents here about the "self defense" thing....
If someone is in my home in the middle of the night, I would not have time to be able to gauge whether or not the intruder is facing me, facing the other way, has a weapon, etc.... I spend a LOT of time home at night when my husband is gone working semi wrecks and so forth on the Turnpike... I know damn WELL that as soon as I saw anything resembling an intruder I would shoot. Hell, I might become crazy enough in my panic that I just start shooting up the place with no rhyme or reason!! I would of course look outside my bedroom window to see if it was my husband who had come home first.... (but my dog would be having a fit, so who knows what would happen...)
But if you are terrified for your life, and your adrenaline is pumping and your body and mind are in "fight or flight" response mode, sometimes you have NO CONTROL WHATSOEVER as to your trying to defend your very life, as you perceive the threat in your head. If someone is CRAZY enough to break into my home in the middle of the night, then they are going to face consequences, and they should have thought twice to begin with! Our biological survival instincts do not allow us to sit and ponder the laws when faced with the possibility of sudden death....
Just my opinion.......

Handjob
OLD BIKER
A crusty ol' biker out on a long summer ride in the country pulls up to a tavern in the middle of nowhere, parks his bike and walks inside..
As he passes through the swinging doors, he sees a sign hanging over the bar:
COLD BEER: £2.00
HAMBURGER: £2.25
CHEESEBURGER: £2.50
CHICKEN SANDWICH : £3.50
HAND JOB: £50.00
Checking his wallet to be sure he has the necessary payment, the ol' biker walks up to the bar and beckons to the exceptionally attractive female bartender who is serving drinks to a couple of sun-wrinkled farmers..
She glides down behind the bar to the ol' biker.
"Yes?" she inquires with a wide, knowing smile, "may I help you?"
The ol' biker leans over the bar, "I was wondering young lady," he whispers, "are you the one who gives the hand-jobs?"
She looks into his eyes with that wide smile and purrs "Why yes, yes, I sure am".
The ol' biker leans closer and into her left ear whispers softly, "Well, wash your hands real good, 'cause I want a cheeseburger
