The New York Times ran an article last week about a new study of happiness that was published in some scientific journal. Anyway, these scientists recruited 2,200 people and then they called them on their mobile phones at random times to ask "what are you doing right now" and "are you happy right now." They collected 250,000 responses. Shockingly, the people who reported being the happiest are the people who were busy having sex. Leaving aside the question of who in thier right mind is going to answer the phone at that point, their conclusion is that "more sex is scientifically proven to make you happy" - go figure.

Of all the sites that I read and belong to with the different things I'm into, I still think this form is the best, there's a lot of good information, 99% of the people are helpful and friendly, and I've found that from just having my Jaguar a little over a year (even though it's a 2002) is a great car. Keep up the good works guys.

Default Health Issue

As some of U know I went into the hospital last Friday for a test, an endoscope of my stomach as there was an indication of cancer from other test. I am very, very happy to say I do not have cancer or no indication of possibility of any cancer markers as the doctor called them. You all don't know how happy I am. I will be around for awhile longer.

Smile Health Issue

As some of U know I went into the hospital Friday for and endoscope of stomach to see if I had stomach cancer, I have been having terrible problems with my stomach for the last three months and both my Mom and her father, my Grandpa died of stomach cancer. I am happy to report I do not have stomach cancer and no sign or any pre cancer either. I do have a problem with nutrition however, as the doctor said especially at my age (64) I have to eat better. My wife left me 4 years ago after 32 years of what I thought was a happy marriage I have been crushed since. My son lives with me and helps to care for me as I am partially disabled. But eating is a problem. I am going to see a nutrition person soon and see what I should or should not eat. I still have a problem with swollen lymph nodes in the stomach, which they cannot find a cause. The doctor said that your nutrition problems might be tied to the lymph node problem. You don't know how happy I was to find out I am healthy relatively speaking that is.

We got about 3 or 4 inches of snow last night and they didn't get the roads cleared completely before I had to leave for work today. Saw 2 4X4 trucks off in the ditch. Watched a 4X4 Jeep spin out in the snow and end up in the ditch. Stopped to ask if he was ok, he was, and offer help. The kid looked at the Jag and asked "How have you kept that thing out of the ditch?" Told him "AWD and being careful will get you through anything." He wasn't nice after that and told me to get my rich a$$ out of there. Made me angry but laugh at the same time. Guess some folks just don't get it.

Thanks, I am going for a second opinion, not for the cancer part as that is cut and dry. But the other problems with my stomach, the swollen lymph nodes especially. When lymph nodes are swollen there is an underlying problem. I have a hard time accepting the doctor's diagnosis of older people seem to get these and we don't know what the cause is.

Your lucky this city does not plow unless there is at least 5 inches of snow fallen. Last nite we had 4 inches, no plow or salters. This weekend the nighttime temps are supposed to drop to -13 degrees F and the daytime temp +12 to +15 F. Gonna be really cold.

It's the intelligent part that I'm afraid of.
I know I ended the sentence with a preposition, that does not make me intelligent.

Smile Night Club

In the spring I am opening a nite club in Chicopee, Ma, which is close to the Springfield, Ma area. It is going to be at the VFW on Front ST. At first it will be open on Friday nite and Wednesday nite. No dancing, just a place to sit and talk and listen to good music. The club will be called the 602 in honor of the club from Star Trek Enterprise. Live band on Friday. with R&R from the 60's and 70's. Wednesday nite is Doo Wop and Blues nite from my personal collection, which is considered one of the best in the Northeast. I've been a collector of this early forms of rock and roll and blues since the late 50's. I will post dates as soon as I get more organized. For anyone in this area I also manage a band called BOLD, available for weddings to Bar Mitza or however you spell it. BOLD offers from a 2 piece acoustic combo to a 4 piece band.
