That was funny.

Anyway, I dropped off the Jag today. Saw the hot Italian blonde. She had a v-cut blouse. You could see her bosom....Very nice. She escorted me out to the loaner. I was following her and checking out the goodies. Long bronze legs and a beautiful ***. She is just wicked. Anyway, she treated me nice.

Also, i saw the L2 in the showroom. I checked it out briefly. Fully loaded for 39K. Looks nice, but i am sure it has bugs since it is the 1st year of production. Plus, i am not a huge fan of Land Rover.

She called back later in the day to tell me it wouldn't be ready. So i am thinking, i will get it back tomorrow.

They gave me a X-Type 3.0. It is definetely faster than my 2.5. It felt stiffer and less body roll. I don't know if it was the sports version. The car felt heavier and more stable. Anyway, Idid some investigating though. I turned off the radio, had the windows closed to listen to engine/tranny/tire noise. This car had 43K. The engine/tranny noise were the same. The rattle i thought my car had, the loaner had too. Also, the slight whining noise was noticeable. The tire noise was the same, however, mine has the whirling noise.

I asked them to look into the whirling tire noise. Asked them to look at the bearings, the whole 9 yards.......
They will revisit the rocking driver's seat.
Fix the front right speaker.
Look at the tranny noise, which i think is normal after driving the loaner.

 

Well mate...........enjoy your 3.0 X loaner while you can......you know what they say...........nothing drives like a hire car / loaner! One of the fastest cars on the planet, no matter what make.........lol

Hopefully they'll have at least addressed most of your issues by the time u get it back..

U shittin me...i have not heard anyhting here, other than the fact that there are 70KIranians with HIV virus in Iran. Apparently, this is becoming a big issue. Most due to sharing of needles. 90% are men. Some homosexual activity as well as heterosexual, but most of it is clandestine since homosexuality is forbidden and no sex until marriage.
