I have a cdl man and I'm telling you what you feel nothing in the trucks...especially when you have that truck connected to a 54' trailer! I drove our empty boom truck into a tree that you couldnt' even push up against and get it to flinch and noticed I took it out backing out of this tough driveway while worrying about getting stuck! Never felt the tree and it was knocked over and on the ground for a few minutes before I knew I had contact! Trees are strong and I didnt' feel a thing!

I don't think u wanna go telling people stories about hitting trees and not noticing for several minutes man,

people may question your ability to drive.

Also, the Spurs won last night, but that's not the story to tell. It's the WESTERN CONFERENCE FINALS and the game didn't sell out?????? Boy are the spurs boring!

You've got that right shows you alot about the spurs! I wouldn't say I can't drive...Tell you what you take one I'll take the other truck well both pull up a residential drive way thats only meant for one regular car or truck and well see who does better! You driven anything bigger than your xj before? By the way the trucks are 40+ feet long have a manual transmission and your two mirrors to use are about 1 1/2 ft tall by about 5 inches wide...let me know how well you do backing up while your between two trees in a sloped driveway and worried about getting the things stuck!

The funny thing is that truck drivers say it's easier to drive their gigantic trucks then our rides .I still say other way lol

I hit a Durango with a Ford F-750 once and I felt the impact pretty strong. Maybe the truck wasn't big enough, but I figure that you should atleast have felt something! Is it fun to operate that crane though?

Well my truck wasn't even a year old it was awesome...the crane was fun I'll have to find the video I have...I took it with my phone. My truck had air ride all on the rear and an air cab, I could get the thing to go up and down like it was on hydraulics with the boom. My crane only extended to 56 foot out but my truck before was a 70'! The new booms had tons of safety crap and weren't as much fun! My truck also had a wireless remote. Meaning instead of going down flights of stairs or from the inside of a house to the truck up the ladder I could just pull the knob and wirelessly manuever. The hardest part was getting into the lift of drywall when the forks are about 5ft apart and your on a hill trying to get each fork into the lift. Especially when the lifts have about a 5 inch gap so you get one fork in and the other one has to go in without damaging the materials...
The trucks were easy to drive but sucked when you were in a homeowners driveway with trees trying to manuever while watching out for everything when it was designed for cars that weren't 40+ft. long and 8ft wide with a turning radius of a two football fields!!!

By the way biggie the heavy duty series are a different story! Our 750 was super strong it actually pulled our 35,000lb trucks out of being stuck...actually we had 4x4 locked and 2 of the tires were smoking pulling the truck out! We beat the snot out of the trucks!

We didn't have a bed in the back, we had a cage with a hydraulic lift. We used it to transport gun range lead. Between the lead and the brass and alluminum, we would haul up to 20K pounds right on the back of the truck. Not pulling it, but hauling it!

They are strong mothers for sure. Ours was just the regular looking heavy duty but we put so much weight on it once that the tires were half way to the rim! It was not safe or smart at all but the ford dealer was playing games with us and my boss hated ford so he wanted to kill the truck to get a gmc...needless to say he didn't even do a thing to the truck! Those things are quite stronge especially with those diesels...and we had the new crappy 6.0 liter in it

Good one Andy. Too bad the Pistons are rolling too. You're right, it's not a good idea to carry that much weight. Either way, we had no choice, and trips to tampa were not cheap, so we only wanted to do one trip. BTW, Bron was robbed last night. He got HACKED!

Shoot hacked he barely got touched...wouldn't have mattered though because we all know that james can't make any kind of shots to determine the outcome of a game! Refs probably weren't used to him actually driving and taking a hard shot...had to adjust their vision and missed it! Doesn't matter about the foul though because hughes had a wide open j at point blank range that should have been in! Plus they got another tip in! I say verajio or whatever that fugly poof ball's name is should have gotten a bad acting foul for his horrible flop...the replay made his flop look worse and worse...The funny part is that the pistons have played horrible and nobody can say otherwise considering a guy like billups had 5 and 7 turnovers when he'll have that in 3-4 games...has nothing to do with cavs defense stupid mistakes...pistons aren't even taking this seriously at all...

I must say that yeah the spurs are rolling and in the last 8 years we've or at least I've come to expect that...either way I hate watching them and the jazz are horrible to watch too...man why couldn't the mavs or warriors win man! I don't see the pistons beating the spurs unless the jazz can weaken them but the spurs are too good for my pistons...I will admit...I think it'd be a miracle for the pistons to win it...
