Happy bday Jim, whadya get?

 

Thanks ancient.......just the usual mate, after shave, bottle of Glayva, bottle of JD, CD etc etc.
Took the day ooff work too. I haven't worked a day on my birthday since I was 17....always took the day off and done whatever I wanted to do.
Spent the day with my wife, no kids, no work etc.........It was a good day

LOL!!! I guess that is the nice day about my birthday is that most of the time nothing goes on during my birthday on new year's eve so I've never worked or even been to school on that day!

 

I had an uncle who had his birthday on that date too............He always hated it. Said that it was too close to xmas and during the holiday period it was never much of a celebration?

Yes he was right about that! What celebration??? But yeah it pretty much sucks...your presents are combined and stuff like that and everyone is busy with other things to do. If I could be born on a different day that day wouldn't be it! LOL!!!
