RE: Rangers 2 Werder Bremen o
Did some miles in the A6 today..........651 to be precise on one tank, estimated I had around 20 or so left in the tank. Not bad at around 82mph for the bulk of the journey with a few "blasts" thrown in.
Saw a sign in Derby for diesel at £1.16 per litre[&:][&:][&:]
Its gettin scary how much fuel has risen even in the last 3-4 months!!!

The Mondys got a smaller fuel tank and is a smaller n lighter vehicle. It gets better mpg on average.
On the same run it coulda got maybe 52 - 55mpg
Around town stop start it seems to cope better and hole the mpg better too. The A6 can drop quite a bit if you're doing a lot of town stop start stuff.

I've always had a soft spot for them myself mate........Its bloody quick too, which helps.
On the A6.......I'm thinkin bout getting the windows tinted??
Any thoughts?
You've seen the car and the colour so feeel free to chime in. I'm thinkin limo black on the rear with some lighter smoke on the front windows but still unsure if it'll fit the car / colour??
Aquill mate......If I post up some pics maybe you could messs around with photoshop for me?
I'd appreciate it.

Just fyi aquill...it snowed 4" here last night...freakin' end of March and beginning of Sprign and it's still snowing. Took me farkin' 2hrs and 45 mins to get from Ann Arbor to Walled Lake. Usually takes me 35 mins! [:'(]
(at least it's 40 degrees today, so hopefully it'll go as fast as it came)/

Hey Aquill,
tint is ok. you can have limo black if you want but only on the rear window and passenger rears too. Windscreen cannot be tinted and ther front windows must be almost tint free to allow as much visible light as possible through. There's been a spate of accidents over the years involving cars with tints that have resulted in many deaths all put down to poor visibility.

Same here, you could spray paint your rears, rear sides but not the front. Only thing you could do in Michigan was 6inches down from top of window or something like that. Me personally I'd go light all the way around so they all match but won't block out all the light or be a hazard...my jag has like 50% all the way around and I like that amount...

I'm thinkin along those lines Aquill...sumthin like a mid smoke black so that there isn't a huge noticeable difference between front n rear which I think just looks stupid.
Thinkin dark smoke on the Mondeo though as its Panther black anyway so that should fit nicely

RE: Hits V Post ratios!
I personally think no matter what the color needs to stay the same all the way around. Look at the suv above, they used a lighter colored tint on the front 2 windows vs. the stock rears and it doesn't look as good. My brothers sporttrac has the same color everywhere and it looks nice...
