At least now the cars will never have to suffer through salt again! That Merc sures looks clean.

I would love to do tints, myself, but would not look forward to being hassled by the 5-0. I guess you can get away with it if you have a prescription, though. I'd rather do all around or none at all, and thus I don't have tints. It's very depressing on a black car, though! [:'(]

 

Actually ancient you should look into 50% it isn't dark but it isn't clear glass...I didn't pay for it on the jag nor the merc that is what was on both but I liked the 50% it's not dark but not clear, like I've already stated...I never got bothered in the jag...My cousin has a script, he's been bothered a bunch though because he's black.

The mounty is spotless! not a lick of rust at all anywhere! The thing is an 03 with almost 29k miles so yeah it's clean but the inside needs a mad detail...here's the ebay link...I looked online for a mounty and it ends up this mercedes dealer had this in their parking lot, mind you the dealer is 2 driveways down the road!

Yeah but how different is your income compared to here? There are always reasons why things are different like yeah california may make more money per hour but the cost of living is much higher than other areas...

Ancient 50% isn't dark at all it's just enough to feel more comfortable but still doesn't block people from seeing into your car...20% is kind of dark though...

Depends on the area and what the job is...minimum wage here is somewhere near 6 or 7 bucks...police officers in a more wealthy area on first year is generally somewhere near $50,000 per year.

 

Cops on $50,000? Thats about £25,000 right?
I'd need to work double shifts there or thereabouts.....lol

The minimum wage is around £3.00 an hour.......thats quite a bit less than here too, although I spose the cost of living here is much higher

You guys really want to know my bank account balance? That was cleaned out from the moving truck and fuel, and the taxes and delivery I had to pay for the furniture! My hope is that the jag sells in a month before I have to pay a payment on the mounty! We shall see on that one! I'll do a write up soon as I get a chance but I've been really busy...BTW I lost lots of money on my escape and I still have to pay that back...basically 3 car payments which sucks![:@]

 

Sorry to hear that Aquill mate...........I know how you feel a little I guess. Lifes gettin tougher all over at the moment. Fuels goin thru the roof which means absolutely everthin else is going up in price too. The only thing that aint? Wages....lol

Hey I don't want any pity it's my fault I shouldn't have bought the escape when I did years ago! LOL

I'll lose some money on selling the x as well but hopefully I can get some form of a job down here. I've been checking into the local police departments and each dept. has different policies. At this point I can be a public service officer or detention officer in the Bedford, TX area. I need to get back into college get a few more credits and I could potentially make 50k with 30-40 credit hours. I have somewhere around 14-20 credit hours right now (I can't remember exactly how many.)

Yeah it's bs that everything goes up in cost and yet wage's don't go up nearly as fast! I just went to wal mart to return a dvd and get milk and dog food and the milk was $5.6? per gallon! I couldn't believe it!

 

$5.60/gallon wtf?

I went to luxury,CA a few months ago and it was like $4 there. Yeah, you must have got the protein/no fat/vitamin D/soy/platinummilk!

That right there is grounds enough to move back to MI! Well, at least for me b/c I drink a ton of milk.
