X-Type passenger front door wont open
The passenger front door will not open on my 2004 X-Type. The unlock lever is sticking out and stuck there (it doesnt budge at all). The door will not open either from the inside or outside.
In the past the door would lock using the power lock, but it would not unlock. It would manually unlock from the inside. I figured I had a bad door lock actuator or possibly bent linkage. Now its just completely stuck.
How do I get the door panel off with the door closed? Or is there some secret to getting this door open that I am not aware of?
Any help would be appreciated.

I finally tackled the stuck door issue today. For anyone with a stuck door its not all that bad to get the door open.
I opened the window fully and was able to partially remove the door panel from the top. First I removed the screw in the center of the door, then pry off the door panel from the top. I got it open enough to remove the cable from the door handle. Then I gave the cable a really good tug with a pair of vicegrips. Voila.....door opened. I could have even dug down a bit deeper if needed to reach the actual door lock.
Then I had to replace the door lock (it was bound up pretty tight) and I will need to source a few door clips that broke.
