Default X-Type Rear Sub Frame

I have a 2004 X-Type 3.0 AWD that looks great and drives great but apparently has a severely rusted rear sub frame that need to be replaced.
Jaguar tells me that the part is no longer available.
Wondering if anyone has a suggestion on sourcing an X-Type Rear Sub Frame.
If this is a common issue perhaps there is an aftermarket replacement part made by someone.
Seems astonishing that a piece like this could rust out after just 15 years when the rest of the car looks great.
Thanks in advance for any suggestions that you may have.

Do a search and try reaching out to the member DrDome.
He is breaking down several x's and can often supply parts, so could be worth sending him a personal message via the forum to see what he may have an the practicality of shipping or collecting for you.

Found DrDome and sent a friend request.
Don't see a way to send a private message... is it because I am new or must i be a 'friend' first.
Thanks!

Thanks for quickly chiming in on this Dell....Didn't get a opportunity to get back to cdmjag quickly.
Getting hammered at work today - not drunk, just very busy ;-)

Hope December is going to treat you well.
Is it too early for wishing a Merry Christmas?

Thankyou Dell Gailey, and thanks again H2o2steam.
Would you believe that I have been on message boards for decades (yes plural) and couldn't find that? LOL!
Fingers crossed that the Dr has a part for me so I can keep this otherwise very nice X-Type on the road!

CDMJAG, most of late modern cars were very good body rarely rust in 15 years, but sub-frame under body being in a lot of water, snow, salt splashed up along with grits, dirt from the road, if it rusted is nothing to be astonishing about. Well, anyway if it bad enough that you want to replacing it, I guess you already look up on eBay, if not, that the place to look, cheap and easiest way to get parts. I don't think you can find that part new. Other source is Google to find the junkyards near your area that allowed to pull it yourself, and check it out if they have any wrecked X-Type, they are cheapest places to get the parts; If you find a car, remove your part first so you know what tools and size you needed to bring along, that's how I do. Prepare to do a lots of work. they sat the car low, and not allowed people to bring the jack in, only hand tools. I saw you from NY, I don't know which part of NY. I just checked the place called Harry's Pull-it yourself, in Hazelton, PA had 4 X-Type from 02-06. The prices were cheap, must put in a lot of labor, Good luck!

Thanguar, Thanks for the suggestion. Sadly I think I am giving up on the repair idea. Just too costly.
