X Type rim offset aftermarket
Looking to replace rims on my 2006 3.0 awd x type.
Most aftermarket rims have offsets between 30 and 42 and factory I believe somewhere around 52mm.
I am happy with everything about the cars handling so I am looking just to clean up the look of the rim rash.
Anyone have personal info on a rim swap?
Any idea on where to get rims?
Plan B is just refinish the rims but time is my enemy.

Really?? That was
Really Dell?? Here is a search under the x400 forum, also known as an X type. I feel like such a fool for not thinking of a search earlier, as there is a plethora of knowledge shared on this topic. I am sure the forum appreciates you taking the time to share your smug response. I apologize for my less than humble reply, as it is out of character for me. I belong to a few different boards and enjoy sharing of knowledge in an online community.

I would just look on TireRack.com to start. It's nice how they put up a visualizer so you can get a decent idea of how it would look, at least from the side.
The stock wheels for most of ours are 52.5 offset from what I recall and 16 or 17" in diameter on the vast majority of cars sold. I think there were some limited availability ones in 18" and 19" size but mainly for Europe with smaller offsets (wheel sticks out more).
Bolt pattern is 5x108.
Good luck and if you do get some, please post back!
