Anyone got a fix for the tailgate glass (Not tailgate) catch releasing when the ignition key is turned toward the start position ? If you exit the car, leaving the engine running, then slam the glass shut, it normally stays shut...Until the next start-up ! Tried spare remote locking fob, but still the same.

First lets make sure we are talking about the same thing. You are saying that the glass only pops open when you switch the car to run. The button to open the glass by itself is located on a small finger tab where the wiper is located. Take the wiper/handle/button assembly apart and look for a pinched wire for the switch. I've seen this many times. The module responsible for activating the release will shut down the release function when it senses the button being held down constantly. When you shut the car off for an extended time the module resets and then when you turn the key on it will open the glass but then disable the opening again when it finds the button constantly pressed. Look especially close where the wiring leaves the handle area. It passes through a tiny opening that appears to be too small and the wires chafe there.
