Go to Harbor Freight buy a set of big and long needle nose pliers for remove the ring clams, to be easier to remove the hoses, get a chopstick carve one end flat about 3/16 thick, dip it in the dish soap, insert around inside between the rubber hose and metal pipe, it make easier to pull the hose out, or just cut them off because you going to replace them any way.

I think your first step should be to go to the advertisement link for SNG Barratt and download their catalog. The cooling section will give you a look at all of the hoses involved in the cooling system.
When you are renewing the hoses make sure to renew the thermostat as well. When removing hoses around the expansion DO NOT pull, twist or pry them off. Just take a razor knife and slice thru the rubber and remove the hoses. You do not want to risk breaking the spigots coming out of the tank.
A few of the hoses come as metal tube/hose assemblies. It isn't worth the trouble to try and reuse the tube and only replace the hose. Go with the assembly.
