X type wiring
I replaced the radiator on my 2006 x type. Now the check engine light comes on. I checked all the plugs and they seam to be plugged in. Right behind the battery there is a single plug not plugged in but i see not place to plug in. If anyone knows where this goes please let me know. I don't remember unplugging this wire thanks Kirkinmich

+1 on finding out what's turning on the CEL. If you don't have a code reader, take car to your local auto parts store. They'll read the codes gratis. Write them down, then tell us what you found. BTW, having your own OBD code reader is really beneficial. There's lots of them available, and you can get a basic one for $20, maybe less. Spend more and you can get one (I have a Blue Driver) that connects to your phone or tablet via Bluetooth.

The wire if it is a 2 conductor and runs back to the fuse box it is the battery maintainer connection that was used when the vehicle was shipped. The maintainer was removed at the receiving dealer and the wire plugs into a lug on the bottom of the battery box so it isn't left dangling around.

P0171 and P0174 codes are lean Bank 1 and lean Bank 2. The cause is normally a vacuum leak. Below are the common areas to check for a leak.
1. PVC hose. The hose runs from the front cam cover to the intake manifold. It rides on a bracket that rubs the bottomm of the hose. The original one is a smooth hose. If you have that one now would be a good time toupdate to the newer ribbed hose.
2. Brake booster line and check valve. The line is mounted on the back side of the intake manifold. Check that it is seated well in the manifold and booster. Also check the round shaped check for cracks or swelling.
3. IMT O-Rings. The IMT valves are mounted on the end of the manifold ( 2 round black discs).
4. Intake manifold gaskets. There are a set of upper and lower gaskets and occasionally will leak.
A smoke test is the best way to search for a leak but you can also use carb cleaner spray as long as engine is cold and you are careful not to spray it on the hot exhaust.
The P1000 is the code for all test are incomplete. Once they have gone thru all of the drive cycles it will change to P1100. It isn't something to be concerned about right now.
Once you have found and cleared any vacuum leaks you will need to cler the codes and see if they return to know for sure that you got them all.
