NO! He's from BUSTON, Massachusetts! Probably a blood sox fan too![:'(] JAJA! Seriously though, our public transportation in the US is horrible, with the exception of Buston, New York, Philly, Chicago, Miami, Atlanta, and LA! Every other city is much too large for the public transport to actually be profitable in extending favorable service to the urban areas!

Hmmm...never tried to use public transportation...but than again the public transportation around here isn't going to take me to the areas I'd like to go...guess I could go towards really bad areas I'd be needing to pack my s&w .40 cal but hey that sounds like fun too!![Big Grin](https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
Only time I've ridden on metro trasnportation buses was when the super bowl was in detroit....parked at the zoo and waited in a line for an hour and a 1/2 before getting on the bus and than paid 4 dollars per person to get to detroit and than another 4 to get back...did I mention it was raining and snowing in the 1 1/2 hour wait??? Did I also mention that the only reason we didn't just drive down there was because my friend said that the roads in detroit were shut down...well the roads weren't shut down and there was parking right across from cobo where all the festivities were going down at...plus parking would have been between 8 and 10 bucks! could have saved 8 dollars by driving! I forgot to mention that to park at the zoo I was also charged 10 to park!

Uhh, sorry to hear that! Here in Miami, you can get ANYWHERE on public transport! Few places that you can't! Might have to walk a bit, but not too much! BTW, sorry to hear that about having to wait in the freezing cold. I had to take the public bus once with the wifey, and oh boy was that embarrasing! Taking a date on the bus! JAJA

the subways in ny are pretty good for the natives, tourists have a lot of trouble as you really cant tell what crappy neighborhood you are getting lost in until its too late because its 90% underground. All of us that frequent them know how to manipulate and switch between lines almost instinctivly. Most nyers know all the major lines by heart...and its dirty, rat infested and smells like ****, but its still the best way to get around my town next to my jag.

Hey man when we got stuck in the rain/snow in freezing weather it was actually some of the most fun I've ever had...we ended up getting down there (cobo center) and had to walk a couple of blocks to the ticket part of cobo and once we got there it was like a 1/4 mile line going a few blocks down....as we got closer to the building to go to the end of the line a cop came out of the building and was like "I need everybody to back up away from the building" we were like what the heck and than they locked everyone inside inside and locked the doors and let us know that there was an unidentified package! We were like ok than 15 minutes later nothing happened so we were like screw this! We had 6 total people and needed 2 more tickets for my other buddy and his girl and didn't want to leave the two of them outside...so we ended up giving the tickets away and than went to get back on the bus that was a couple of blocks away and get to the bus line which wrapped around the building...by the time we got from downtown detroit to the detroit zoo it was about 45 minutes and there was 6 inches of snow on the ground with more flowing...we may not have made it into the superbowl weekend but we had a blast...

Yeah......sounds like fun[&:]....lol
If nothing else, something to talk about I guess. An interesting story.
When they bombed Omagh in Northern Ireland a few years ago I was over a short while later, funnily enough, so was Bill, Bill Clinton that is. I was driving thru Omagh as usual and it was all cordoned off. I tried to drive further and was stopped by a gun weilding policeman who told me I could'nt go any further as the "President" was in town.
I said.......BILL, The big man....lol........like I knew him!
He just laughed and pointed at the four SAS types in the car behind him and suggested I turn around....lol
OK then......
A couple of days later I went back......The shops next door had all been blown apart, some more than others. The shop a few doors away was having a "slightly bomb damaged goods" SALE

Yeah 4 sure, and a story to boot....lol
Gotta love those guys over there though.
Around the same time I was coming outta Armagh ( Bill gave some speech or other there)
Anyways, I was driving out of the town and there was a huge traffic jam, all roads blocked. At first I didn't connect the two ( I'd had a longgg day)
I came up to a junction and there's this cop with a rifle cradled in his arms. The queue behind me musta been about 2 miles long.
I get the......Do you have any ID? Where have u been and where are you going routine?
He hears my accent and says.........You're from Scotland?
Yeah I says............H egoes on n on n on about how he loves the place etc etc......the queue's now about 3 miles long.
He dont care...........he's got a rifle, lol
Quite amusing I thought.

Now tell me Jim if your wife found sperm on say your baby sitters clothes or someone from your work what would your wife think? Perhaps sometimes when you get really happy your wrist starts shooting swimmers...give me a break man I don't like that guy!
And yes I was talking about the policia officer!
