[QUOTE=Gemma Whittle;2196100]Can anyone tell me if these two codes are connected please.
been getting the cat code constantly but passes mot fine on emissions.
today was the first time I got the fan error code.
When it went on fir emissions error I was told it reset fine and could be one of too many things to repair 🙄

Gemma, first things first, P1111 is the code that you want to see. That says all is good with your car. P1000 simply means that your car may or may not have a fault and the computers have not been able to complete a full drive cycle with no error codes. So this really leaves the P0420 and P1647 codes.
The P0420 code normally refers to your upper O2 sensor on bank 1 (The side nearest the firewall) is going bad and most likely needs to be replaced. You may want to check the fuse for the Bank 1 O2 sensors to verify that it is good before spending hte money on a new sensor.
The P1647 code refers to the upper O2 sensor on bank 2 (the side nearest the radiator) is going bad and most likely needs to be replaced.
Based on these codes, I would start with checking the O2 sensor fuses. In the engine bay fuse box, check fuses F38 and F42 if you have a car that was made on/before March 2004. If it was made after that date, then you need to look at fuses F20 and F21. If those all look good, then odds are, you will need to have both the upstream O2 sensors replaced. if you want to do more troubleshooting, then let us know and we can step you through a few things.
