Default Bleeding XE brakes

Replaced the right rear caliper only. Brake line was open a few days waiting on the caliper. Assembled and bled brake line with a vacuum pump. Pedal goes to the floor. Did the pedal push and hold and cracked the bleeder, no air. Pedal still goes to the floor. Do I need to bleed the left rear caliper? The pedal should still get hard with air in the lines correct? What am I missing?
