Building/configuring my XE
#2
Nice. I like the BRG, and the darker red, whatever that was called.
I really liked the the two toned jet/oyster leather interior of the XE-S. It's black where your butt and back go, and oyster everywhere else.
The XE-R Sport has inverted colors for the two-toned interior, which I did not care for quite so much. Your back and butt would hide the color, exposing only the black.
Personal taste, of course.
I wonder if they'll keep that color scheme once the car is ready for the US market.

Bellanca, worst case, once you get the car, take it to an upholstery shop and I am sure they can make just about anything you could want.
I played around with designing "my XE". I guess I got stuck on the Ultimate Black Metallic with the black package. Then had to do some blue interior highlights. If I got the car, some of the blue would most likely end up coming outside to give a little accent here and there.

Bellanca, it is all a matter of how bad do you want something. For me, I normally am after things that I can fabricate myself. So, the costs are very little in most cases. But, for something like upholstery, unless you have a heavy duty sewing machine and some sewing ability, it may get pricey. Fortunately for me, having done a boat interior before, this would possibly be something that I would take on, but I would need a little bit of liquid courage though too. LMAO.

Centroid, odds are, they are going to offer it with a few more color options as this is intended to be a high volume car (relatively speaking in Jaguar terms). So, they are looking to both interest people with a few new colors, but also not to make it so you are "forced" to choose between 2 colors that you may not necessarily want.
