Cycling through favorites from steering wheel??
I couldn't seem to find anything in the manual or settings, but am I only allowed to cycle through one page of presets using the steering wheel controls? I have all 18 presets programmed (XM) after I get to #6 I have to physically touch the next page on the screen and then I can cycle through those 6 presets and then I have to touch the screen again to get to the last page and then can cycle through those 6. It also doesn't go to the first preset after getting to the last one. Is that just the way it works vs just cycling through all favorites from a given source? I do not have the 10" Pro infotainment option. Not sure if that is different or not.

What the heck, how do you get it to so that?. I just saw this thread, I posted something similar a few minutes ago in a separate post. When my car was being worked on, my loaner car cycled through stations in sequential order as well, bypassing the faves.

When I get to the last preset on a screen of six, it just goes back to the first on THAT page, but I can't get it to switch pages without physically touching the screen (Base ICT). It's mind boggling and defeats the point of having so many pre sets.

What do you mean? Do you mean within the same screen of six or do you mean it doesn't go back to page 1, fave 1 after page 3, fave 18?

Same thing as my other complaint I guess. After page 3 it doesn't cycle back to page 1. Also on mine if all 6 presets aren't set it won't skip back around to the first one on that page. It just stops at the last one programmed.

Are you pressing and long holding or just pressing quick? A long hold press will just cycle to the next station vs a short press which SHOULD go to the next favorite.

My results are the same as RaffiNJ.
My steering yoke button will scan up or down to the next station it can find, but pays no attention to whether I have presets saved or not.
Are we all talking about the same system? ICT with the standard 8.5 inch touchscreen? And all talking about the same XE model? 2016 through 2018?

Odd, I have the standard touchscreen. Just went and tested it now using FM radio and set 4 presets that were not in numerical order (to make sure it wasn't just selecting the next station) A tap on the right button cycles through the 4 presets I saved. A long press seeks to the next station with clear audio. Same result with my XM presets.

AAAhh! It may not be odd at all. An owner may have the standard ICT, or he may have the Pro ICT, or he may have the standard ICT with XM, or the Pro ICT with XM.... and I'm willing to wager each will offer its basic functions and respond to the user-buttons differently.
When I first got my vehicle, the dealer mistakenly told me that instructions for the XM radio are in your glove compartment. That led me to think I had some sort of 3-month trial XM service, as some sort of free complimentary thing Jaguar must be handing out to all us new US owners. But that idea and the dealer's statement were all wrong.
I had to call Jaguar Regional to sovle the confusion, Jaguar explained that you have to have XM ordered at fabrication---you can't even physically add XM to your car later.
So I suspect that an XM-equipped head unit in the XE may be literally wired and chipped differently than the non-XM model. Your XM ICT is intended to behave differently than mine, when we tap some of the same buttons.
Just a thought.
