Default InControl App

Hi Guys,

Any guidance to get this sign up to work for the InControl app on iPhone? No matter what I do I can't get past the accept terms and conditions part on the create an account page where you choose a password. I tried safari, chrome, etc and can get past this part. I tried from my phone and from my home PC with no luck. I checked both boxes but it won't let me get to the next step. Any hep is greatly appreciated.

If the app won't accept your email address and password, try using a password with at least one capital letter, at least one number, at least 8 digits, and no number or letter used more than twice.

I called Jaguar and they told me the issue is that the dealer has to set me up and send me the link to finish this part. There is no way around this as I am at the mercy of the dealer setting me up initially.

I think this might help... When you are looking through the Terms and Conditions you have to actually click 2 of the links located within the terms and conditions. They will open up a new browser window, as soon as they load, X them out and go back to the T&C page. After you open then close these two links you should be able to agree to the Terms and move forward.

After the dealer guiding me they said there is 2 hyper links in each terms box you have to click on that you can not see them as clickable. They said just on the words until they open a link. They should make it visible to avoid the hassle I would think.

Nice --- were you able to get it to work then?

I had the dealership customer service guy do this on my phone when i got my car, and I specifically called it out because it was so stupid that those two tiny non visible hyperlinks have to be clicked in order to proceed.

Yep, got it to work now and the setup is complete.

But........ The dealer broke the spring loaded sim card mech and I now use a tear off of a business card to wedge the sim in place since it sticks out all the time. They will fix that later on for me.

Read each Hyper-link. There are 2 or 3 in every section

We have a 2019 F-Pace and are trying to figure out if there is a special sim card needed? The local dealership can't get a us a good answer, we understand that one is required to proceed with the InControl Apps.
