Jaguar Select Warranty renewal

On Tuesday I received an email from Jaguar Warranty admin advising me that my warranty would run out in mid February 2021 and invited me to renew it.
I have to say the quotations seem to be enormous, based as they are on a 12 month validity period: -
I thought it prudent to explore what other warranty I might buy, and identified the RAC Premium Plus warranty as closest to my needs. For a premium of £761 the cover is broadly the same but covers a three year period ! There is no multi-year option with the Jaguar warranties, so I would be looking at a minimum spend of £752 x 3 = £2256; totally ridiculous. On the face of it, it seems a no-brainer to take out the RAC policy, but is there anything I need to beware of. With the Jaguar warranty, all I need do is go to my local Jaguar main agent where I bought the car, and they will administer the claim for me.
I get the distinct impression that Jaguar bosses don't want too many owners renewing as they have too many claims due to various poor design or build issues, so best to slough-off any warranty demand there is.
