First time posting, sorry if wrong section. Have a query on labour required for a specific job.

The exhaust has been rattling and vibrating like a Y reg van. I've checked and the rubber exhaust damper at the rear is broken. This part:


Is it straight forward... unscrew and re-screw or does it latch onto something on the inside of the exhaust?

Got a quote for £95 from Jaguar but if the piece is £20 and it's just a straight unscrew/screw I'll do it.

I did this job today part was £35 from Taggarts Jaguar in Glasgow, 5 minute job, it fixes straight to exhaust so no alignment issues. You can get at it from rear of car no access issue either - only problem I had was a new vibration at idle - solved that by using old bolt which is a slightly different shape from the new one supplied. Hope this helps
