Default New XE Hood coming soon

I wanted to start a fabrication project on my XE S and decided to go towards an old school look. Hope to be complete by the end of February

I split a new factory hood and delivered to Posies Customs and Rods in Hummelstown, Pa to add a classic interpretation to a modern sedan.

That's going to look great! Will there be underhood trays to funnel rainwater? Is it still aluminium?

Those are some talented guys there.

Looks great. I don't think the water will be an issue. Jaguar and Aston have been putting vents into hoods for a long time.

Water has been no issue at all. In fact I have deleted air boxes and run open k&n cones.

I run a VAP pulley and tune and the vents work so well my hood is cooler than a standard hood. I of course run the supercharger with no cover as do many Jag owners. The car has turned out quite stunning and I still am working on brakes and wheels, but those projects have stalled.
