Had just a small leak in my thermostat housing got a new one out it on now it drives about 20 miles then straight to overheating temp gauge goes straight up no lose of coolant at all. After installing new housing I added coolant. All electric connections are back together just can’t understand how a small leak has turned into this any help would be appreciated

Hello, I'm from Brazil, I saw your post and I imagine your affliction. I had the loss of liquid bothering me for a long time, until I saw a video that taught me that we have to preventively change the water pump, the thermostatic valve, and the water duct that is behind the supercharger every 50,000 km. When changing the coolant, there are 2 valves that need to be open until the coolant leaks through it. There are two plastic screws that fit any tool to get all the air out of the system. After filling it with liquid, you can close the system and drive the car. The next day, fill in what is missing with the cold car.
