Default Passenger side water ingress

Hello fellow Jaguar owners! I have water ingress on the passenger side floor board. I have been trying to figure out where it is coming from. I noticed inside the hole is wet and looks like it is holding some amount of water. When i poured water on the windshield, it drained properly to the ground. The one thing i do know is it is rain water as the liquid is clear and has no odor to it. Jaguar wants to charge 250 just for the ingress test, and then whatever it costs on top of that to fix the problem. I want to try to do whatever I can first before going that route. Any help or tips will be greatly appreciated!

I'm not familiar with the XE other than having had them as courtesy cars from the dealer but a general comment on water ingress may be of help.

On several other Jaguar models, water in the front footwells (can be either side or both) is often caused by blocked or detached AC drain tubes. The condensate can't drain as normal below the vehicle, backs up in the drain tube and flows into the passenger compartment. This is a lot more common that leaks through glass or door seals.

Unfortunately that is one thing I can scratch off the list as i haven't ran the AC in 2 months cause of the colder weather. I found a couple posts talking about the problem, but no one ever came back to say what actually fixed their problem :/ im going to taking the glove box out and checking the filter area. Thanks for swinging by though!

Have a friend or a relative run water to the windshield or suspected areas via garden hose and while you are inside the car observe where the water is coming from.
Or some possible leads from XE owners in the UK https://www.jaguarforum.com/threads/...otwell.137234/

I have had a similar problem but not on a Jag (Honda). It was cause by a clogged drainage tube for the sunroof.
