Rear brakes

Took my 2017 25t in for regularly scheduled service today and was told I need rear brakes. Dealer quoted me $895 plus tax, which I'm assuming includes rotors but even if it does that is an insane amount of money for brakes.
I've replaced rotors and pads a million times on older american cars... but of course I gotta ask... are Jags any different than any other car when it comes to a brake job? Any special tools required or any tricks or gotchas?
Also, am I voiding the warranty by doing it myself if the car is still under warranty? This is a lease that end in May and I don't plan to keep/buy, so obviously not looking to drop $900 in brake work in the final months if it is something I can do myself.
Thanks!

The brakes are not warranted, so I'd shop around if I were you. The only thing a bit odd is the electric handbrake will have to be reset. There is a fairly simple procedure to do this once the new brakes are on the car. Have you asked the dealer for a breakdown of the cost ? What parts are they going to fit ? For that money it will be pads and discs as a minimum.
$895 = £685. Assume 2 hours labour @ £120 per hour gives £445 for parts. That seems an awful lot, but the labour may be greater, so if you assume 3 hours, it gives £320 (=$418) for parts which is still a lot.
