Default Registering for Online Service History

I thought I'd share this.

In case this was not mentioned when you bought your JAG, all owners should register for the Online Service History, which will eliminate the need of keeping a log book in your car everytime you service. In my conversation with someone at Jaguar Australia, he emailed me a special code to register. You can view your basic personal/vehicle details and any service/maintenance history. This should have been done via the person who sold you the car but of course, mine didn't do anything about it.

Hi, thanks for info.Is this done on Topix? I have registered on Topix and put in my VIN and it comes up with my car details, Dealer, specs etc. Not sure if this what you meant.

I didn't go to Topix.
JLR emailed me a key code and I went to:
https://osh.jaguar.com/login

And I think for the purpose of servicing your car, you would need this instead of Topix. This would be your 'logbook'. When you sell your JAG, you would print a copy of the service history for the buyer (as advised by JLR).

I suggest if you didn't hear anything after a few days, ring Jaguar.
It's terrible that dealerships don't help new owners with this when they hand over the car.
