Retrofitting Heated Seats to a 2017 XE
Hi! I bought a 2017 XE 20d two years ago. Absolutely love it. I always wanted a Jag but never thought I would be able to afford one for at least another 20 years until I happened upon my beauty at a great price with very low miles. At first, didn’t mind not having heated seats, as I was living in El Paso, Texas, USA. But I have started traveling a lot with my job and have spent a lot of time in colder climates. I’m pretty handy with cars and have seen some threads about retro fitting heated seats to a lot of other cars. I’m more looking to find out if anyone has actually retrofitted heated seats to a 2017. I’ve seen some posts about doing it to older model jags but I know with newer model cars in general may need a new software flash. The heated seat hard buttons are not on my jag but the soft buttons are on the infotainment center with a red line through them. I imagine it could be possible to have an OEM set up but, like I said, has anyone done this on a newer model before? Thanks!
