13.281 1/4 MILE! Took my XE R Sport to Bradenton Dragstrip in the heat of summer, and my Blue Beauty did not disappoint. She actually ran the fastest of any car I've ever owned. That includes a highly modified Camaro Z28 from 1995. She should do 12.9 in December

I ran with traction control off, and with dynamic and sport modes on. I just let the car shift itself instead of the paddle shifters as I probably would have just bounced off the rev limiter. I also lowered the air pressure in the rear tires from their normal 47 PSI to 30 PSI. Tried several launch techniques, including power braking with higher RPM but that's just seemed to bog the engine down at the start. My best run was holding the break with the left foot and then just mashing the accelerator on the Green light, actually the 3rd yellow for those that have dragged before.

Nice quick time for a V6..

I expect my XE sport to arrive in a few days and look forward to the reported excellent handling of the car.

My F type R is a rocket, but there is something about a sedan that handles well and is fast that can't be beat.

Wonder what that would have done had the 380HP been available?

That is a very good time! Good job on launch

The best ones I've seen were in mid 13's

Is your car RWD or AWD?
