90,000 miles .I'm thinking I pull the shield and then remove the pan with the built in filter . Let it drain a bit and then install new pan and fill with appropriate atf oil

 

Any transmission shop recommendations in the Portland /Vancouver area? 600 $ seems a little steep !

 

Honolulu can be a mixed bag as far as environment the car was kept in. Speed limits are relatively low with lots of cops everywhere to ensure a ready stream of revenue in the form of speeding tickets. The roads are generally in poor condition so expect lots of gravel abrasion in the front and rear flanks if not covered with Xpel. I lived on island for four years with my Lotus Elise, the dealer who was also the Jag dealer was expensive but pretty good
