I purchased a 2017 Jaguar 3.5t R-Sport back in June. I've seen a few others and noticed that they have the black grille, black fins on the bumper, and the black fender vents. Do all RSports come like that? Also i noticed that my interior is a little different than some others. I am just curious if some of those RSports came spec'd out and mine is just the "base" R Sport. thanks.

Hi, it sounds like the others have a black pack. That would usually include the grille surround, blades (which is what I call the horizontal things in the bumper vents), and the side vents with "Jaguar" written on them. Without the black pack all of those are in a brushed aluminium or chrome.

You can get an interior black pack too the most noticeable difference is the ring on the steering wheel hub is black instead of silver.

Personally I like the XE both ways. We didnt have the black pack on our first and the small amount of silver looked great although my wife did catch me trying to wrap the blades in gloss black. Our new XE has the black pack, everyone seems to like it but I am missing the silver a little. Always want what we dont have, eh? I think with the silver it looks a bit more classy, with the black it looks a bit more sporty.
