Default XE 380W Meridian Subwoofer upgrade

I have an XE 2016 with the Meridian 380W sound system.
The sound (Bass) is very weak.
What are the options?
Is it possible to install a subwoofer in spare tire hole?

The battery is in there too.You can add an amplifier and subwoofer.

Hi Lusor,

thank you for the reply.
I have just checked the spare tire space but the problem is the big battery and the tire repair kit.
My next idea would be an active subwoofer with High-Level-Input. Where can I get the signal easily?
I have the system with 10 speakers.

I have the base system on mines so the location to tap the signal wires are different.I think the subwoofer in your system is under the rear right wheel arch and the amplifier is inside the left trunk inner panel.
