Yes, wheels were very nice. Marked as Venom 19". The red is fantastic.
Well, like the XJ in '10, it seemed like quite a 'departure' from the traditional design to me. I am liking the 'new' XJ very much now, so maybe I can dig the XE as much as time passes.
I do like the exterior; interior am not so sure.
That car is the 'top' of the XE line which left me wondering how the other models stack up.
I did like the leather seating with suede inserts...nice touch.
I think it will attract a wider audience than previous designs; it seems 'younger' and in line with current styling norms.
Cheers. The portfolio trim looks far more premium IMO. Jag seems to have gone down the route of having the sports models with plainer interiors, usually all dark. Similar to Volvo with their "r-design" when back in the s60R days the R meant you were getting the best performance and the best interior.
The one I've ordered has black and oyster interior. I wouldnt have picked it but it is growing on me. It's like this one
Saw some XE's at a dealer down south from here. They look nice in the flesh but I was disappointed to see how the Adaptive Cruise Control ruins the grill badge, it is just a flat piece of plastic with the growler badge printed onto it... compared to a non ACC car.
Glad I did not order the Adaptive Cruise Control ! I don't like the grill treatment on that.
Still waiting for an update on delivery. Communication is not good from Dealer.
I havent seen any except the dealer's demos actually driving, but I was at Jag last week while they were looking at something on my car, and 2 people came in to look at the XE in the hour that I was there, and a third took the demo off for a drive. Looks to have driven up some interest. So far I like the IRR, the grey looking one, and the blue (that my wife wouldnt have because she thought it looks too much like a WRX).

OMG, that's where they hid the ACC sensor? I've seen that "badge" in some of the previews over the past few months but didn't understand why the grill looked non-uniform. That's horrendous.
A few clips of my car, delivered 22nd Sept., 6 weeks on and still the novelty hasn't worn off. An absolute pleasure to drive.
I do like a the Chrome window surrounding. As it will be my wife's car she wanted the chrome surrounds on the R-Sport. I originally was a little reluctant ,but it is growing on me as it matches the front and the R-Sport side vents.
No update on delivery date. Like expectant parents waiting in the delivery room with "no news". The communication from the Dealer is very poor?

Some pictures of the interior. I'll put a few observations in another post later. My wife is about to go to the bread shop and I have offered to drive her there. She is somewhat bewildered by my sudden eagerness to chauffeur her here and there, but doesn't complain.
edit - sorry about the sizing of the pics, if someone would be kind enough to give me a few hints on resizing into something more viewable I'll happily edit my post.
