Following on from a post I made about the Bluetooth possibly not working on my 2011 xf. I spoke to the sales guy to get it in and looked at. He has said, the car may not have Bluetooth fitted, it could have been an option that the original owner didn't pay for, which I don't believe. How can I find out if Bluetooth is actually fitted? I'm pretty sure the sales advert said telephone connectivity. It's an important piece of kit to me. Also, I was told by a work colleague, that if it has failed, I would need a new head unit. Any thoughts on this one.
Any Jaguar Dealer (or independent with a JLR TOPIx account) can look the 'build sheet' for your vehicle which details the base specification and accessories. Here's the first of 3 pages for my XK as an example which confirms it is fitted with Bluetooth.
As you are the UK, the Jaguar Customer Relationship Centre in Coventry may provide this for your vehicle:
Thank you so much. Spoke to jaguar customer service and they have confirmed that Bluetooth is fitted and she is sending me the specification sheet to prove to the garage that it is fitted.
