Cold air intake

Cold air intake
2011 Jaguar XF premium 5.0
just need help on something I made a custom cold air intake and took the original 2 out (stock). Question should I leave the stock on or the new custom one on that I made cuz I’m not seeing a whole change do I need to make a dual custom cold air intake cause I have just the one single intake but I’m not seeing a difference in power maybe less.
please help. I also straight piped my exhaust if that helps or not.

Firstly you are in the X260 forum when you should be in the X250 forum.
Secondly what you have done cannot do much if anything for the NA version of the AJ133 but some have reported changes/improvements on the SC version (eg XFR).
Not so much increased power or torque but more SC whine.
If I were you I would go back to the stock intake system and look at selling your CAI system to someone with an XFR or XF SC.
Edit - I now see you have posted the same question on the X250 forum, and I now see that you have gone to a single intake where I previously assumed you were showing just one side of a dual intake.
I think that answers your question - dual to single = less air flow, plus pick up in the engine bay = hotter air, no wonder it doesn't work!
