Cylinder block assembly - engine replacement

Welcome to the forums Amy,
Sorry to hear about the engine issue. It's going to be expensive whichever way you go and paying for professional removal/installation adds a lot of labour. The sensible choice would be to cut your losses and get rid of the vehicle for spares or repair. Easy for me to say but your circumstances may not make this either preferred or even possible.
The most obvious replacement source will be an accident write-off and usually sellers know just how valuable a good powertrain is. This would be the lowest cost option but is also the biggest risk. No real way of knowing if you've got a good one until it's installed and running. Jaguar engines for almost all models turn up on ebay but a breaker who would give a limited warranty on a used engine would be safer.
The safest (but most expensive) option is an exchange for a fully rebuilt and guaranteed engine. Here's one example:

You are likely to get more help (and from members very much closer to Texas than me) with a post in our US Southwest Region forum.
Good luck. 2024 can only be a better year for you after a disaster like this.
