Default Europe: Used XF(260) - V6 Supercharger or 2.0 Turbo

I already asked on Reddit but found this forum so I am trying my luck here. I am looking for "new" car to replace now small (with second kid) Mitsubishi Lancer. Jaguar XF really caught my eye.

I am kind of torn between V6 and 2 liter options. I like V6 sound, I don't mind it is bit rude and rough. It is like English gentleman with having huge mussels, not shaved for a week and tattoo on neck... :-)

However I am really afraid of eventual problems with cooling system or even car already had cooling system issues and is being sold due to it so it will need engine rebuild in 10k km.

Is 2-liter version also have similar weakness? Or all good and reliable?

I live in EU with sky-high petrol prices so V6 is very rare option. Vast majority is diesel which I don't want.

In reality I could be choosing between V6 from year 2016 with ~80k km on tacho vs 2liter from 2018 with <50k km on tacho. I don't mind to do a bit of extra investment beside usual ones (tires, oil, break pads etc.) but I don't want to end it as 4000 EUR investment.

Not fully decided but quite likely in particular: 35t

and 30t

I really like V6 supercharger howl but I already had a car which required pricy engine rebuild (Subaru Legacy 3.0) and I don't want to do it again. Also 2-liter is much younger although it had already two owners. Red 35t looks better to me.

This 35t was at least sold as new in Germany. Not like others which are usually total-wercked USA version and then imported and repaired in Latvia and legalized in Germany.

Thanks for any advice, opinion or even gut feeling.

I'd say buy the 2.0T. That's what I did and I am very happy. Saves me a lot of money on the gas pump. It will serve you well if you travel from one country to another in Europe. It is fast & quick in acceleration. Have a test drive & you'll know what I mean. On oil maintenance, I will go for 5K miles oil changes but 7.5K miles on oil change is my limit if I am traveling Inter-State. I will not do the extended 10K miles between oil changes.
If you choose the 2.0T this what you have to do in owning a car with a Turbocharged engine. Just follow this rules or steps & you'll be enjoying your car. Here is the link below.
