Please help!! I have gear box fault. I was cleaning the inside of my car, and right after I went to start it, and the shift button would not raise and the gear box fault came on. Now it is up, but won’t do anything! Fault us still on and the care doesn’t start!!

Welcome to the forums Jennifer,
When cleaning the interior, it's all too easy to accidentally move controls or press buttons that in combination can have weird and totally unexpected effects. My first action would be to lock the vehicle, set the alarm and then open again as normal. This can often reset everything. A strong possibility is, if you have had the doors open and ignition on for an extended period whilst cleaning, the battery has been partially discharged. Modern Jaguars are super sensitive to battery condition and state of charge. This is another regular cause of odd electrical faults.
When you get a minute, please follow this link New Member Area - Intro a MUST - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum to the New Member Area - Intro a MUST forum and post some information about yourself and your vehicle for all members to see. In return you'll get a proper welcome and some useful advice about posting to the forum.
