Jaguar XF 2009 Multiple Check Engine Codes After Manifold Gasket Intake Replacement
After a sub-par mechanic replaced the Manifold Gasket Intake on my 2009 Jaguar XF, I am now receiving the following codes and a check engine light: P0208, P0420, P0430, P0301, P0301-P0308, and P0360. Prior to me having the mobile mechanic replace the Manifold Gasket Intake, my car started up with no engine knocking and very smooth with a single push of the start button. The only issue I ever encountered was that I would occasionally encounter the Manual Transmission Fault error when I quickly decelerated and then accelerated. Over the last several years, I replaced most hoses under the hood, spark plugs, fuel injectors, coolant tank, and the water pump.
I tried to be a good citizen and made a bad investment in a mechanic. I actually had to have another person complete the job, and I believe he didn't put everything back together properly. Too many reasons to list. Ultimately I was informed that the jump is complete. When I started up the car, I noticed it started up a little rough. I was told that is just because the car needs to warm up after sitting a few weeks. I paid for a mechanic from Wrench.com to perform an engine and exhaust diagnostic. He stated that my car will run great, and he could not find anything. I didn't agree with his diagnostic analysis because my car still started up rough with light engine knocking, but he also said it's only because my car was sitting for a few weeks. Keep in mind I had drove 200 miles on a single drive right before the first mechanic touched the Manifold Gasket with not a single engine sound or stall. I lightly drove my car for a couple of weeks, and then put it on the highway. It accelerated better, but a few days the engine light came on, and the light knocking became a little more pronounced. The same mechanic from Wrench.com came back out on the 1/21/2021 and now without pulling anything apart he is stating I need to replace my entire engine based on the codes he saw. After I let him know I had a full engine and transmission check from AAMCO sixt months ago, and all was fine, he only stated that his 20 years of experience of looking at these codes on other cars leads him to this belief. I think this is BS because he just said 3 weeks ago my car was perfectly fine.
Has anyone experienced these codes after a Manifold Gasket Intake replacement, or similar repair? I am going to locate a reputable repair shop, and explore redoing the Manifold Gasket Intake replacement as that was a job that should have not taken 3 weeks to complete. My belief is something went wrong, and now I'm receiving error codes because my car was running fine before they touched it. Now, I'm all ears to everyone's relevant experiences.

Sorry you've had nothing back. The codes you list will have explanations against them, but I don't have the list. Hopefully somebody regularly on this forum will be able to help, but one has to suspect that a wire or a vacuum tube or something has not been reconnected properly. May I recommend that you try to find a shop specialising in Jaguars or as a minimum, European cars and get them to clear off the codes then run the engine again and see what comes up. Replacing a mere inlet manifold gasket should be fairly routine, but we need to know what engine you have as you haven't told us.
