Ok, as stated I have a Jaguar XF 2012. Base model. About 115x miles. About a week ago I come out to my vehicle it started but gear shifter won’t rise. Read somewhere it’s possible to still shift even if not raised. It won’t. The stop start light is not illuminating nor the gear (park). I hadn’t gotten any warning prior but now says “gearbox fault” it had been stating “service required” but it had been on only about a week and I kept driving at a minimum. I’ve read that there’s a fluid that could be low in the gearbox, break switch, or the most unfortunate the transmission. I’ve had this car only 6 months. Independent dealer. PLEASE HELP. Looking to do most work if possible myself or a knowledgeable independent mechanic in Ohio/Michigan area. Thanks In Advance ❤️
