Jaguar XF Infotainment has lost its memory

I don't know how better to describe it but my infotainment system seems to be suffering from amnesia. It's forgotten my mobile phone; the DAB radio is no longer working and is showing "No Reception", the previously saved stations have all disappeared; the Sat Nav is working but recent destinations have been wiped and new ones aren't being saved. To my uneducated eyes it looks like whatever chip/sim/thingummybob is used to store things has given up (although not sure if that would explain the DAB radio not working).
The seemed to coincide with a message popping up saying the SD card couldn't be read. It asked me if I wanted to retry, to which I said yes, that's when the radio stopped working and I noticed the other symptoms over the rest of the day. However, now I can eject the sd card and immediately get the same message. Reinserting makes the message go away. I've also read that the SatNav shouldn't work at all if the SD card isn't working. So this may be a red herring.
Can anyone suggest what the problem may be?
Thanks in advance.
