Having some slight seating alterations done to newly purchased 2019 XF. Having footrest raised about an inch to make it reachable for 5ft driver. Having head restraint front face cut back so as not to push driver’s head forward when raised to correct seating position. This is in addition to having seating pads from Halfords/Amazon to give higher position and shorter seat length. Hopefully this will make the driver comfortable instead of the current discomfort during and after driving.

This is not just a XF issue. It seems to be every car these days.

 

Not making modifications now. We’ve just bought back the old car, an Audi TT. Short driver will use that daily and will try using the the XF periodically until a comfortable position is achieved with cushions. Expensive option buying the TT back and now having to run two cars but seriously the XF is crippling the missus.
